Roofing Day in D.C. 2018

The roofing industry converged on Capitol Hill and it was important to be there! The NRCA brought together roofing professionals from across the U.S. for the first and largest advocacy event of its kind dedicated solely to the roofing industry. As you know, the roofing industry is facing critical government policy issues, including worker shortages and regulatory burdens, that need to be addressed by Congress.

The event brought together contractors, manufacturers, distributors, service providers and other roofing professionals to communicate our message to lawmakers on Capitol Hill. As such, the specific issues were selected for discussion with elected representatives, which were issues on which the entire roofing industry agrees. This was a unique and exciting opportunity as we took over Capitol Hill and spoke with one voice as a united industry! We need everyone to get involved and participate in changing our industry as regulatory burdens and work force shortages challenge roofing industry employers everywhere.
